Junior Microsoft SharePoint Consultant

About The Job

Eagle is currently seeking a Junior Microsoft SharePoint Consultant for a twenty-four (24) month contract position, scheduled to begin immediately.


Key Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Delivering server implementation;
  • Participating in migrations, implementations, and customization's;
  • Participating in systems integrations;
  • Implementing and developing new solutions/services including forms, business intelligence, dashboards, standard or customized work flows, web portals, etc.;
  •  Upgrading existing solutions/services;
  • Integrating SharePoint with third party applications or tools;
  • Performing social media integrations;
  • Performing analysis, design, and development of enterprise environments;
  • Performing data migration activities;
  • Performing testing and acceptance activities;
  • Applying problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems;
  • Working with City staff to maintain and improve SharePoint environments and,
  • Knowledge in different versions of SharePoint, with regards to configuration, key features, management of farms, integration with other tools, debugging techniques, and best practices for architecture and solution implementations.


Skills and Qualifications


The successful candidate must have:
  • Solid technical and business analysis skills and experience developing high-level conceptual models of business processes and defining solutions based on the organization’s business requirements;
  • Strong logic and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to organize information in a logical and consistent fashion;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with software engineering concepts and the software development life cycle;
  • Must have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 to 10 years of related experience;
  • Attention to detail, strong configuration/customization and design skills;
  • Experience with end user interaction, supporting user training and documentation development;
  • Knowledge and experience architecting and implementing business solutions in SharePoint and,
  • Knowledge and experience architecting and implementing CRM business solutions in Microsoft Dynamics.
