The Dealer Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for sales support activities and to sell BMO products and services that enable and drive profitable growth.  As an Inside Sales Representative you will work both with your commercial team and cross-functionally to resolve dealer or end customer issues; while also developing and deepening relationships with our customers.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

- Serve as the primary contact for new transactions for dealers.  Involves bringing a deal from origination to funding by communicating with dealers / customers in gathering required information, closing documentation requirements and interacting with risk, pricing, operations etc. in fulfilling the processing of the transaction.

- Provide real-time resolution on inquiries from new and existing customers, dealers and program partners utilizing cross-functional internal network.

- Follow-up with dealer partners and customers  to win transactions with approvable structures and profitable pricing. Support sales reps when they are on the road by handling day to day tasks, assist with risk underwriting tasks, and navigate deals through the system.

- Achieve team volume and profitability quotas by focusing on maximizing our service to customers and by executing sales calls.  Assist commercial team by helping to track and convert pending opportunities and ensuring deals are funded in a timely manner.

- Promote leasing and/or loan products, services and promotions to improve volume penetration and build dealer relationships.

- Ability to manage discussions and develop long-term relationships with all organizational levels within the customer environment.

 

Qualifications

 

Knowledge / Skills:

 

- University Degree is required

- Bilingual in French preferred

- A minimum of 3 years of sales or customer service experience is highly desirable

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Experience in creating and maintaining client relationships

- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

- Strong organizational skills

- Attention to detail

- Ability to juggle multiple projects, co-ordinate work and establish priorities

- Ability to adapt to change
