Weigh Scale Service Technician

About the Job

Pacific Industrial Scale, a division of Avery Weightronix manufactures, installs and services all types of Weighing Systems. There are Thousands of Truck Scales, Train Scales and other types of Weighing Systems in Western Canada that need to be tested, calibrated, repaired, upgraded and eventually replaced.
We require more service staff in our Edmonton Shop to perform this work.
This is a specialized trade that requires technicians with a broad range of skills and abilities. Pacific Industrial Scale will provide training as required.
Hourly Pay Rate is negotiable based on skill and experience level.
Full Benefit Package.
Good Communication skills are required.
Math skills are required.
Some Lifting and Carrying is required. (20 kg. Test Weights)
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting ability is required.
Drug Testing on many work sites is required.
Some knowledge of basic electronics is required.
Basic Computer Skills are required.
Programming Skills are an asset.
Clean Class 3 License is an asset.
Basic Fabrication knowledge is an asset.
Basic Construction knowledge is an asset.
A Criminal Background Check is required for Scale Inspection Accreditation.
Some Travel is required. Expenses are reimbursed.
Occasional weekend work and overtime is required.
Technician will be enrolled in Measurement Canada Accredited Inspector Course
