Supply Chain Training Specialist

Our large Oil & Gas client is seeking a Training Specialist to oversee all training and development initiatives for their Supply Chain Management business unit. The successful candidate will use their strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead a training ‘hub’ for these groups, providing valuable insight into areas of opportunity and program improvement, as well as coordinate and maintain existing programs to ensure consistency and excellence in content delivery.

  • Maintenance of centralized Supply Chain Management (SCM) training curriculum; ensure existing course content and delivery is consistent in message and presentation and review new curriculums to ensure they meet quality standards of existing courses.
  • Coordinate and execute launch of Training & Competency Development ‘Needs Assessment’; analyze findings for opportunities for career and professional development for existing staff.
  • Analyze existing course content and delivery for gaps in content coverage and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop new courses to ensure these gaps are filled.
  • Provide information to staff and management on course offerings and recommend courses to encourage career and professional development.

Must Have Requirements;
  • A combination of 10+ years of professional experience in corporate training, adult education, curriculum development, and change management; 5+ years of which is supervisory.
  • 5+ years of full cycle corporate analysis experience; gather/analyze data, interpret data, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Change agility: Must be adaptable to change as this team works at a fast pace where priorities often change quickly depending on the needs of the business.

Nice to have Requirements;
  • Supply Chain experience.
  • Oil and Gas experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management. 
  • Experience in SAP and/or LMS.
