About the Job

Holts Salon & Spa, located in the heart of downtown Toronto, is currently seeking a polished, fashion forward, dynamic Salon & Spa Manager.  Like no other, our unique “everything beauty under one roof” philosophy offers client both express services and a full menu of luxurious signature treatments allowing them to customize their experience in one convenient beauty destination.  Whether clients are looking to treat themselves to a quick beauty perk, perform multiple services at the same time, or escape to enjoy a luxurious day of pampering, our staff are committed to ensuring that their individual beauty needs and preferences are met.

If you are passionate about everything beauty, and are exceptional at customer service and retailing, with proven sales management experience, we want you to join our team of professionals.

The successful Salon & Spa Manager will be responsible for:  


-        Location specific P&L management, with a strong emphasis on increasing sales and meeting budget expectations            

-        Develop and manage local level programs and services to meet the sales objectives

-        Implement corporate marketing sales programs

-        Actively recruit new team members

-        Motivate and incent staff to meet short and long term goals

-        Schedule and host staff training workshops

-        Attend business networking, tradeshows, and sales meetings to initiate new client business

-        Develop strong internal working relations with Holt Renfrew store and corporate management teams to ensure working in unity and striving to achieve sales goals

-        Payroll management and staff scheduling

-        Maintain retail stock inventory and ordering

-        Resolve any potential client issues to ensure for total customer satisfaction


Job Requirements

-        Minimum 3 years luxury salon & spa management experience

-        Degree/diploma in hospitability, business or sales management

-        Sales driven with a proven track record

-        Excellent communication skills

-        Extensive computer knowledge, with ability to pull and read sales reports

-        Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, multi-functional team environment

-        Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working with high level of autonomy

-        Available evenings and weekends, as required

-        Fashion forward professional who is passionate about the beauty industry

-        Experience and ability to perform services as a licensed professional is considered an asset
