Assignment/Scope of Work
The preferred candidate will work on initiatives of strategic importance to the development and/or on going enhancement of our client's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program(s), and other applicable assignments as directed by management.
Assignment Duties
· Work in coordination with the Head of Risk Management/Information Security to lead the development of an integrated enterprise BCP/DR program for the CIO office that ensures for the continuity of operations and services delivered to their client in the event of an unexpected outage of either business processes or associated technology.
· Development of the strategy and implementation plan for BCP/DR.
· Development and delivery of education, training and awareness program(s)
· pertaining to the delivery and establishment of the BCPO/DR program.
Qualifications
· Experience developing/leading a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program (8-10 years).
· Experience working in the government sector or similar large complex matrixed environment (5+ years).
· Professional designation (CBCP or MBCP).
· Experience creating and implementing BCP/DR policies, procedures and processes.
· Experience conducting and assessing BIA’s (Business Impact Assessments). (2+ years)
10+ years of general Information Security/Risk Management/IT Audit/BCP/DR Management experience.
