Job Description
Our Client is a technology solutions provider in downtown Toronto primarily servicing major corporate accounts in the telecommunications industry requires a Development Manager and Systems Analyst to participate and work with our Client in the delivery of upcoming development projects. This position requires strong technical expertise in development Project Scheduling, SLDC, System Analysis and Production support.
Key Requirements (Must Have):
· Must have experience of working as Development Projects Lead to develop,
coordinate and manage Software Development Projects using MS Project.
· Must have experience of working as Systems Analyst using Client Server Oracle
and Unix based Systems.
· Must have knowledge of Telecommunication Billing Systems
Key Requirements (Nice to Have):
· Nice to have if fluent bilingual in French and English communication (verbal and
· written)
· Nice to have if willing to travel and stay up to 20% of job time onsite in Africa
· (currently Burkina Faso/ Zambia) with each visit of 3-6 weeks in duration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Acts as Development Projects Lead to develop, coordinate and manage
· Development Projects.
· Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Customer Care and Billing relating to
· telecommunications at client site.
· Acts as liaison between Project Management and Development teams.
· Ensures client issues are addressed at appropriate times based upon Service
· Level Agreement.
· Participate proactively, with the Project Management, developers and business
· analysts, in the analysis of data, applications and processes in order to meet the
· business requirements of Telecom Industry
· Is responsible for, under the minimum supervision of the management team,
· ensuring work follows the application development lifecycle; this includes design,
· technical and business walkthroughs, QC, UAT and production implementation
· Assist other developers in gathering of data requirements, data definitions and
· construction of logical data model
· Ensures that process development conforms to established company standards
· and procedures, and that appropriate checks are in place to protect data
· integrity.
