Bell Mobility is seeking Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Technical Writers for its acclaimed full time unpaid opportunity at the Professional Management Program (PMP) in its state of the art Mississauga campus.

Candidates from Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business IT and Mathematics and software development are encouraged to apply as projects may be customized to the candidate’s strengths and pre-dispositions. The PMP is a holistic career transition for those with relevant experience garnered from academic, business or personal pursuits. This endorsed program can also meet requirements for co-op and practicum courses of post secondary and post graduate schools. 

AN ARRAY OF OPPORTUNITIES

• Run production and performance tests on software and hardware to identify issues early
• Create automated testing scripts that push our software to the limits
• Identify performance bottlenecks inhibiting system potential and help developers address them
• Develop testing policies and QA requirements, bug tracking systems, test design and execution
• Maintain and enhance detailed technical documents and manuals for applications system architecture and various platforms
• Collect, organize and maintain a solutions log for other technical support analysts
• Create End-user Documentation to help improve our products and for users to get the most out of our technology

GREAT COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS

• Interact with client-teams to support marketing and research projects within the PMP
• Facilitate information gathering and sharing sessions with stakeholders, colleagues and end users
• Work with developers to document system architecture
• Deploy automated test scripts that rigorously test systems
• Cultivate successful projects by identifying bottlenecks and increasing understanding through concise system descriptions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge  Unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing, web-based enterprise application testing, browser and server side test automation (Selenium)
• Experience with IDEs such as NetBeans, Dreamweaver, Visual Studio
• Knowledge of testing methodologies/frameworks such as: JUnit, PHPUnit, BlackBox Testing, WhiteBox testing and more
• Skills in System Analysis, Implementation, Testing, Debugging
• Positive attitude, highly motivated, organized, outgoing and works well under pressure
• Helpful qualifications include fluency in French, vehicle access, and evening/weekend availability
• Additionally, candidates with knowledge in Java, C#, Vb.NET,PHP, MySQL, MSSQL Server, Mobile Apps development(iOS, Android, BlackBerry) HTML5, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Ajax, jQuery are encouraged to apply
