About the Job

Are you an accounting professional with a high degree of accuracy and superior analytical and problem solving skills?


If so, our client has a need for a temporary Accountant (Accounts Receivable) in the downtown Toronto area to join their finance team.


In this role you will be providing a variety of accounts receivable functions including conducting account research and analysis, daily reconciliation, preparing bank deposits, maintaining account receivable ledgers, assisting clients with billing processes, process all account receivable transactions, prepare ad hoc reports and projects as requires, and record and allocate interest earned from investments and other miscellaneous revenue.


Our client is looking for a candidate who shows initiative in their work and is a team player!


Ideal candidates will have:

  • Post-secondary education with 2 years + of accounts receivable experience
  • A designation or currently enrolled in an accounting designation program is an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication (both written and oral) skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Quickbooks.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
